Style of dispenser

Choose a dispenser from our standard XL Levered, the innovative XT Touch version which has no levers and a clean style with all operation via a touch pad at the top of the tap or the XR remote which has a separate control pad which can be mounted nearby the tap for greater design flexibility. All versions are available with the complete Sahara range.

Integrated drain font

If the dispenser is to be mounted away from a sink, choose our XI Font. The ultimate in modern clean styling, it can be either surface mounted or recessed into the bench top for a completely flush mounting. The font comes complete with a dispenser riser to ensure sufficient clearance.

Dispenser riser

A dispenser riser can be added separately to create extra clearance under for tall jugs and pots. There are two dispenser riser heights available for the XL, XT and XR dispensers, choose between 70mm & 120mm.

Choice of Finish

XL & XT dispenser available in Chrome, Brushed & Matt Black. XR dispenser available in Chrome only. Risers available in all colours and finishes.

Extension Kit

In a situation where the underbench unit cannot be mounted directly below the tap, Billi also offers a tubing extension kit for our Boiling and Chilled systems which allows the unit to be mounted up to 2 metres away, giving extra design flexibility

Premium filtration

Unless specified, the standard filtration in the Eco and Quadra is 5 micron, which provides a high level of water quality whilst maintaining reasonable filter life. We also offer premium sub micron filtration for even greater water purity and these filtration options are available with our units when originally supplied.

Sahara 310 – FAQS

There’s no room left under our sink. Can a Billi water filtration system be installed in the next cupboard?

Absolutely. In fact your dispenser can be installed up to 2.0m from its undersink water filter. Remember, there will be a boiling water delay with a long extension.

How often should I replace my under sink water system filter?

We recommend a new filter at least every 6-12 months, depending on usage and water quality.

Do I need to buy special filters for my under sink water system?

Yes. You should always use the correct filter for your water system.

Do water filtration systems get blocked? Our boiling water flows well but ambient just dribbles out.

Yes. As filters catch contaminants, they become soiled. Billi under sink water systems use mains pressure, so reduced water flow indicates you should change filters.

Why does the red light flash on the tap?

The indicator lights tell you what’s going on. Flashing red means boiling water hasn’t reached 99°C yet. The light will glow solid when this happens.

How do I know when to change the under sink water filter?

The orange light will flash continually when your water filter needs changing.

I don’t have boiling water and the dispenser red light is always flashing.

The heating element may have blown or overloaded. Call an authorised Billi agent to repair your undersink water system.

Why is there is a strange taste to the drinking water from our under sink filter?

Contaminants collected in your under sink filter become concentrated when filters reach the end of their life and can affect water taste. Ensure that the filter is replaced at least every 12 months of 6,000 litres.

Do you have a drain tray? We’d like to install Sahara in the boardroom but there’s no sink.

Yes. Billi Font is available for this purpose in a finish to match your filtered water dispenser.

How can I tell if my Sahara unit is on or off?

If the Billi dispenser lights are illuminated, your Sahara water system is on.
